Dog Days of Summer

The three-night performance event features a variety of local dance companies creating a different program each night. Come early, bring your own chairs, enjoy a meal from a local food truck vendors with your family and friends, and then prepare to be dazzled and entertained by exceptional local dance talent. This family friendly event is is perfect for all ages. The plaza opens nightly at 6pm for a 7:30pm performance. The Pioneer Center presents this event FREE TO THE PUBLIC.

Dog Days of Summer Dance Festival serves as a spotlight benefit for another local nonprofit, SPCA of Northern Nevada. Adding to the fun, SPCA-NN volunteers and staff present a nightly “Pup Parade” Fashion Show, featuring rescue dogs from their facility donning the latest fashions from the SPCA-NN Thrift Store. We invite you to enjoy exceptional local dancers while supporting great nonprofits in your community.
