DESCRIPTION:Join the Urban Roots farm-ily for a thought provoking brunch at the Virgil! \nUpon arrival\, guests will receive a signature cocktail/mocktail and will explore the venue’s elegant ambiance to discover discussion boards relating to food insecurity. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in the conversation\, learn more about the issues that affect our northern Nevada community\, enjoy delectable small bites\, and enjoy acoustic music by Elliot Schifferdecker. Exploration of the entire space is highly encouraged so guests can take their photo in the iconic photo booth\, participate in the silent auction\, and complete their healthy harvest passport for opportunity to be entered into a unique raffle! \nA delectable spread (appropriate for all dietary restrictions) will be served in-conjunction with an enaging presentation to learn more about the role that Urban Roots plays in combatting these issues. Guests will then have the opportunity to join the Urban Roots mission by participating in one of our in-demand educational programs\, Gardening for All\, while raising funds with the lovely Connie Wray to support this in-demand community-focused initiative. \nWe hope to see you there to cultivate community through nutrition with you as we build more gardens together! \nThanks to our generous sponsors Anthem BlueCross BlueShield\, Q&D Construction\, and Plumas Bank for supporting this event! \n\n\n\n
