DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss Carson Valley’s newest Cultural Art Festival\, featuring a weekend of hot air balloons\, concerts\, competitions\, displays\, and demonstrations by local musicians\, artists\, and performers of all kinds! \nThe first annual Carson Valley Hot Air for Hope Balloon Festival will be held at Lampe Park in Gardnerville\, Nevada from May 17th-19th\, 2024\, and will serve as a benefit for the Center for Hope & Healing’s community programs. \nOrganized by the Center and a group of local balloonists\, this event is free to the public and will include public balloon launches from Lampe Park. In addition to the balloon events\, the festivities will include live bands\, art performances\, food trucks\, and local vendors throughout the day on May 18th at Lampe Park\, presented by the Cultural Arts Foundation of Douglas County. \nThe community is welcome to come enjoy the balloons up-close\, take pictures\, and learn more about ballooning. For more information about this event\, including a full schedule\, visit the official website and be sure to check its page on Facebook for updates. \nPlease note that balloon launches will take place if the weather permits\, so it’s advisable to stay up to date on local weather reports prior to your visit.
