DESCRIPTION:Featuring: \nRuth Lenz\, Violin \n  \nOn the Program: \nNikolai RIMSKY-KORSAKOV Procession of the Nobles \nJoseph Boulogne de SAINT-GEORGES Violin Concerto No. 2 in A Major\, op. 5 \nPyotr Ilyich TCHAIKOVSKY Serenade for Strings in C Major\, op. 48 \n  \nWe invite you to a grand affair featuring Tchaikovsky’s Serenade in C Major and Reno Phil concertmaster\, Ruth Lenz\, as a featured soloist. Considered one of Tchaikovsky’s best works\, the composer himself described Serenade for Strings as a “piece from the heart.” Opening with an homage to Mozart\, it is a graceful and poised composition with a memorable waltz melody that has been used in a variety of movies and ballets. The program also includes Chevalier de Saint-Georges’s Violin Concerto No. 2\, a showcase for violinist Ruth Lenz. The performance will burst to life with Rimsky-Korsakov’s Procession of the Nobles (from Mlada)\, which features a brass quintet performing a rousing and festive march tune that will have you envisioning an ornate gathering of royalty. \nConcert & Ticket Information \nEstimated runtime: 2 hours \n  \nBuy tickets online by clicking on one of the dates in the upper right corner (or scroll down to the bottom of this text on mobile)\, or by calling 775.323.6393. Box office hours are 9:00AM-5:00PM PT\, Monday-Friday. \n  \nLIVESTREAMS: \nTickets are $25.00 for single viewers or $40.00 for a household \nThe livestream\, virtual concerts will begin at 7:30 PM (Pacific Time) on Saturday and 4:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Sunday\, with the pre-show concert talk starting 30 minutes prior. Only one ticket per viewing device\, per concert is necessary: \n\nIf multiple members of a household plan to watch together on the same device\, only one ticket is required.\nIf you would like to stream the concert on multiple devices at the same time\, you will need to complete separate ticket orders for each device (regardless of whether “single” or “household” is selected).\n\nThe order confirmation email is your ticket!
