We’ve added more and better opportunities to hear from and interact with alumni visitors from around the world who participated in our program\, as well as those in the Reno area. DESCRIPTION:Join For Kids Foundation in celebrating Nevada Day and Northern Nevada’s fabulous fall season at our very first Oktoberfest fundraiser\, benefiting vulnerable children in our community. \nEnter our Beer Garden\, featuring local breweries\, starting at 6 PM. A full Oktoberfest-inspired buffet will keep you going all night while you tap your feet to the sounds of DJ James Klein with Thunder and Lightning Mobile DJs. There may even be some polka dancing if the mood strikes you! \nWe’ll get the audience involved with some fun contests\, prizes for the best Oktoberfest garb (costumes strongly encouraged!)\, raffle prizes\, and our exciting Reverse Raffle. \nOur unique Reverse Raffle boasts a grand prize of $3\,000 Costco Gift Card. Just think of the damage you could do with that kind of money at Costco! We are selling only 100 Reverse Raffle tickets at $100/each. During the evening\, we will draw tickets (if your number is drawn\, you’re out of the game) until only three tickets remain. One of these three people will go home with the cash prize! It’s super exciting because you can “buy” someone else’s ticket if they are willing to sell and you’re feeling lucky!
