DESCRIPTION:The League to Save Lake Tahoe will be hosting a booth at this year’s South Lake Tahoe Earth Day event. Stop by to learn about issues impacting Lake Tahoe\, how you can get involved\, and pick up Keep Tahoe Blue swag. We will have a fun\, interactive activity and prizes! \nWalk\, ride your bike\, take the bus or carpool with three or more friends to win a special prize at our booth. Join us at the Kid Zone to make a fun keepsake to take home. \nIf you are interested in volunteering to help Keep Tahoe Blue at the booth\, email events@keeptahoeblue.org. If you are interested in volunteering at South Lake Tahoe Earth Day\, please complete the form here. \nMore about South Lake Tahoe Earth Day\nEarth Day recognizes\, celebrates\, and promotes our region’s unique beauty while educating the public about local environmental issues. Bring your friends and family to learn about ways to counteract global climate change through recycling and composting\, alternative energy\, water conservation\, sustainability\, and reducing our ecological footprint. Enjoy local live music and dance\, swing through the Kid Zone to make some recycle-themed arts and crafts\, or get your face painted\, and be sure to support or wide array of educational booths and local vendors.
